EDITION 01:

Mid Century, Mandy Moore, Sarah Sherman Samuel, Park Studio Hardware

Collecting content that makes you feel. Inspiration Studio is a monthly series where I share content with you that not only inspires me, but may inspire you as well. The collected content is in no particular order. It’s just whatever has recently inspired me. From bookmarked tabs, stories, videos, IRL finds… you name it!

Mandy Moore’s mid century home / I love watching Youtube videos. One of my favourite series to watch is Open Door by Architectural Digest where they take an exclusive in-depth tour of celebrity homes. I’ll admit, I’ve watched this tour way too many times, not only because I am a huge Mandy Moore fan, because I totally am (and yes, before the popular show This Is Us, which btw pulls at my heart strings every episode), but because this home is just gorgeous!

The interior is thoughtfully designed by the amazing Sarah Sherman Samuel, so you can already imagine how beautiful the space is. What I love most about the design is the easy, simple vibe it gives, but there’s actually lots of small details such as the brass in-lays, hand placed terrazzo, and hidden bedside light switch. A lot of focus is also put towards gathering spaces and areas that highlight their passions, such as space for their music, and a book hallway that has tons of natural lighting, which makes the space more purposeful.

Sarah Sherman Samuel / What a cool name to have! Sarah Sherman Samuel is a Los Angeles based interior and product designer. She is easily one of my top favourite interior designers. Her style is effortless modern with a touch of magic, and not to mention she’s also a DIY master. If you’re curious, you should go follow Sarah’s dreamy Instagram account. You’ll understand why everything she designs is Instagram and Pinterest worthy.

MORE ABOUT SARAH SHERMAN SAMUEL

Park Studio / Speaking of dreamy, Sarah Sherman Samuel’s hardware collection in collaboration with Park Studio is the definition of dreamy. She has a few amazing collaborations, but hardware is one that anyone can invest in without breaking the bank or having to do major renovation. I personally really like the half moon pulls.
